Your periods can - and should - be pain free!

What?

Yes, that’s right, cramps and pain are your womb’s way of letting you know she’s not very happy.

Misalignment of the womb can cause congestion and blockage of the flow of vital fluids and energy in and out of the pelvis, which can result in many so called female problems from painful menstruation and irregular cycles to fibroids and fertility issues.

As long as the womb is in her correct position, all vital life force - blood, lymph, nerves and qi will flow freely around her and through her.

Here are a few tips for a happy womb.

Stay Active

Regular exercise isn't just great for your overall well-being; it also benefits your womb. Physical activity helps improve blood circulation, which promotes hormonal balance and a happy womb. Try to do at least 30 minutes of exercise most days of the week. Activities such as walking, yoga or dancing are excellent choices to get you moving and keep your womb in top shape.

Avoid running, especially on cement surfaces, as this can damage the ligaments that support your womb and lead to prolapse and pelvic floor problems.

Nourish Your Body

A balanced diet plays a vital role in maintaining womb health. Incorporate nutrient-rich foods into your meals, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. These provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support womb health. Don't forget to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.

Maintain a Healthy Weight

Research suggests that obesity is associated with an increased risk of various female issues, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometrial cancer.

Prioritise Sleep

Good sleep hygiene is essential for overall well-being, including your womb health. When you sleep, your body undergoes crucial repair processes. Aim for 7 to 9 hours of quality sleep each night. Create a soothing bedtime routine, maintain a comfortable sleep environment, and limit electronic device usage before bed to promote restful sleep and support your womb.

Stress Management

Chronic stress can impact your womb health. Find healthy ways to manage stress, such as breathing exercises, meditation, yoga, or engaging in hobbies you enjoy. Prioritize self-care activities that promote relaxation and emotional well-being. Remember, a balanced and stress-free mind contributes to balanced hormones and a happy womb.
