Whether youโ€™re new to complementary therapies or visiting our practice for the first time, this page answers the most common questions about how we work, what to expect, and how to make the most of your appointments.

WHERE IS THE PRACTICE LOCATED?

We are based at:
Forge House, Lower Road, Forest Row, RH18 5HE

Our treatment rooms Oak & Willow and our Waiting Room are located on the left hand side of Java & Jazz.

Oak has its own entrance on Lower Road. Willow is accessed directly from the Waiting Room which is on Lower Road. Entrances located with arrows on the map here:

PARKING:

There may be parking in the parking area in front of Java & Jazz or In-Gear Cycling Shop.

If not, there are two public car parks within easy walking distance โ€“ one by โ€˜The Seasonsโ€ organic wholefoods shop and one by Forest Row Community Centre. Parking is free, and bays are marked with the number of hours it is permitted to park there.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

Where should I wait?

Please take a seat in our waiting room, and your practitioner will come to collect you at the start of your appointment.

If the door is closed, it simply means a session is in progress.


๐Ÿฉบ Insurance & Payment

 

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Many of our osteopaths and acupuncturists are covered by private health insurance policies.

Approval varies by provider, so please check with your insurer before booking.

We can provide receipts for reimbursement.

Insurance we commonly work with includes:

  • MediCash

  • Health Cash Plans

  • Simply Heaalth

  • Aviva

WHEN DO I PAY?

Sessions are usually paid directly to your practitioner at the end of the appointment unless prepaid online.

Please check directly with your practitioner about when and what payment methods they are able to accept.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

We offer multiple convenient ways to book your appointment:


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Most appointments require at least 48 hoursโ€™ notice for cancellations or rescheduled appointments but please check directly with your practitioner as it may vary.

Late cancellations may be charged at the practitionerโ€™s discretion.

DO YOU OFFER LOW COST CLINICS?

Yes โ€” we run several community clinics:

CAN I BOOK THE TREATMENT ROOMS AS A PRACTITIONER?

Yes! We welcome both regular and ad-hoc practitioners.

We do not currently have wheelchair access, but we are happy to discuss any specific access needs and explore how we may be able to support you.


CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?

Yes, you may bring a partner or friend to the waiting room.
For treatments, your practitioner will advise.
