Contemplative Dance Practice

  • The Anderida Practice Forest Row, England, RH18 United Kingdom (map)

Tuesdays 8.30-9.30am during school term time.

Cost: by donation.

This structured shared movement practice was developed by the Buddhist dance practitioner Barbara Dilley in the 1970’s.

We practice 20 mins meditation, 20 mins own movement (inward attention, moving with and for yourself), 20 mins open space (movement in response to and with others in the space). Traditionally this practice is done without music but sometimes there will be music accompaniment.
