Our mission is simple, to bring health and wellbeing to our community.
We offer support for both mental and physical health and wellness for all ages, through treatment and therapy, support groups, exercise and health education programs, at low cost to anyone who is in need. In particular those who are unemployed, on low incomes, in receipt of benefits and those who could otherwise not afford to pay for treatment and therapy themselves.
Through one-to-one sessions and group classes & workshops, we aim to empower individuals, families and the elderly community to better manage their own health and to build a healthier and happier community.
With immense gratitude to the National Lottery Community Fund, we've been able to provide vital health and well-being support for our community. We are excited to share some updates on our recent initiatives:
1. Maternity and Perinatal Wellbeing Support: We've been offering essential maternity and perinatal well-being support through our breastfeeding drop-in program.
2. Family and Community Wellbeing Support: Our homeopathy drop-in clinic has been a valuable resource for families and the wider community, promoting overall well-being.
3. Teenagers Wellbeing Support: We've successfully completed our Creative Arts Therapy for Teenagers program, providing valuable support for adolescents in our community.
Even though these initiatives have concluded, we're delighted to announce that our services are ongoing through the Acorn Children's Clinic.
Our mission is unwavering: to provide paediatric acupuncture and osteopathy at an affordable cost, ensuring that every child in need can access the treatment they deserve.
However, to keep our clinic running and continue making a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community's children, we need your support.
